Unicli defaults to either ReplyAll or Compose mode, and it’s easy to forget to switch modes, leading to unintended email drafts.
Mind The Mode
To ensure Unicli performs as desired, always check the mode before drafting. Are you replying, composing, or chatting? Here’s a short video demonstration of how to alternate between chat and response modes in Unicli for Outlook.
Chat Mode
Use Chat mode to ask questions without generating emails. When accessed from an email, Unicli considers the email context. For instance, if a resident inquires, “We see that our neighbor has a small cow in their backyard. It’s cute, but how is that allowed?” you can ask Unicli in Chat mode, “Do the pet rules mention this?” Unicli will understand the reference to keeping a cow.
Response Mode
Similarly, when replying to an email, select a response mode (Reply or ReplyAll). Unicli recognizes the context and drafts the reply accordingly. Using the previous example, you can instruct, “Specify the pet rules,” or leave it blank for Unicli to respond appropriately.
